First Presbyterian Church is God’s house, and all are welcome!
When you visit, you will quickly notice that God’s house is under construction! We are in the midst of our Fulfilling the Vision campaign to renovate, re-configure and restore the buildings in which we worship, learn, and conduct mission and outreach.
This may actually be a good time for you to visit us, since the first time visitor and the long time member are pretty much on an equal footing: a new place to worship (the chapel); a new place to park (many of the entrances next to the rear parking lot are blocked off); seats in all of the pews are up for grabs (no worry that you’re sitting in someone’s “place” in “his” pew); and no one knows for sure where the nearest restroom is.
Come join us on the journey for a few Sundays and watch these old buildings blossom and flourish anew. We also think you’ll like the people you find here as we strive to be faithful to what God call us to be and to do.
