Church wide Christmas Party

Reserve the date – December 14th – for the annual church wide Christmas party being sponsored this year by the Guilberts.  Details to follow.

Married Couple Retreat

Treat yourself to a retreat sponsored by the Congregational Life Ministry and led by Samaritan Counseling Center staff.  The overnight retreat will be held at the Scottsville Conference Center (near Marshall, TX) Jan. 16-17.  Registration deadline is Dec. 7 (forms are on the bulletin board near the library).  Contact Cathie Dodson for more information.

MANNA

The Stone Soups (both food and musical) were a big hit on Wednesday night.  Thanks to all who contributed and to Pathfinder narrator Annette Simmons.

This coming week at MANNA we will celebrate the Jewish festival of Succoth (The Festival of the Booths).  Following dinner we will have the opportunity to visit a variety of booths that will be set up in the gym.  There you can sample treats and try your hand at a variety of crafts.

The meal for that evening will be our Thanksgiving celebration:

Roast Turkey

Cornbread Dressing & Gravy

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Yellow Squash Casserole

Willie’s Rolls

Orange Cake

Please note, there will be no MANNA on November 26th.

SEE YOU IN SUNDAY SCHOOL!
