Do you ever wonder how a church fits in the scope of social media, or why we are investing in being a part of this online community? The ministry of this church uses social media as a means to: communicate, connect, and to call to action.
Using social media (in addition to other mediums) to communicate life at First helps us to inform our faith community of the happenings of the church. Connecting with our faith community by using social media helps us to create a conversation by allowing members to contribute to the discussion. Social media can also play a part in initiating a call to action in prayer, service, and giving.
