From time to time, the congregation designates an elder or a deacon to be Elder Emeritus or a Deacon Emeritus as a way of giving special recognition to an individual who has made extraordinary contributions to the life of the church through his or her many years of faithful and loving service to Jesus Christ and the church. This year, the congregation recognized and honored Wesley Glassell, Henry Goodrich, Diji McClamroch, and Lee Morgan as Elder Emeritus at the 11:00 worship service on March 21, 2010, as a small way of saying “Thank You” for what they have meant and continue to mean to the life of this church.
