Stewardship
The earth is the Lord’s and all that is within it…
So begins Psalm 24, which describes our understanding of stewardship well. God desires that we enjoy the world and one another, and that we would be responsible in how we use what we have been given.
Our stewardship affects all areas of our lives: by our care for the earth, the ways we choose to spend and share our money, and how we invest our time.
We expect members of First Presbyterian to exercise faithful stewardship by committing to the ministry and mission of the church by sharing their financial resources and by getting involved in the life-giving work of the church.
